For larger groups, the Old West Inn offers a loft area with 2 queen-sized beds and a small landing veranda. This area can accommodate up to 2 extra persons, bringing the maximum capacity of the inn to 8 persons. Despite the cozy size, the Old West Inn offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The resort will not allow additional guests who exceed the maximum occupancy of the cottage. Remember that the water from the faucet is not drinkable, however, the resort will offer you drinking water or you can purchase bottled water. - If you’re coming from Manila, you can take a flight to Davao City, which is the closest major city to the resort.
- Take the bus at the Ecoland Terminal in Davao City to Digos City Terminal. (Estimated Fare: P90.00 per person)
- From Digos City Terminal, ride a tricycle to “Old Digos Terminal”. (Estimated Fare: P25.00 per person)
- From Old Digos Terminal, take a van to Camp Sabros Mountain Resort. (Estimated Fare: P100.00 per person)
When you arrive at the camp parking area, you may:
- Hike Up (20 minutes)
- Ride the habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) (Estimated Fare: P50.00 per person)
- Ride a horse (Estimated Fare: P50.00 per person)
- Request a Shuttle Service (Contact in Advance) (Estimated Fare: P50.00 per person)
Should You Intend to Bring a Vehicle
- Coming from Davao City, as soon as you reach the “Welcome to the Lion City of Digos” sign, the road will split into two.
- Follow the main highway (the road on the right which leads to Bansalan and Kidapawan) and watch out for the first road that turns right (Sitio Cogon). You can’t miss it because there’s a sign that says Camp Sabros (27KM).
- Take that road (Cogon) for 27 kilometers till you reach Sitio Barras, the access point and parking area with a sign saying Camp Sabros (750M).
Upon arrival, you may park your vehicle at the camp proper or at the parking area below the resort. Check the directional map below:
Policy Regarding Food and Drinks in Camp Sabros
For Day Tour Guests:
Food and drinks except water are not allowed inside the restaurants and cafe areas. You may use any of the available ‘puroks’, the corkage fee is P400.00 for 1 to 6 persons regardless of the amount of food and drinks brought in. Prior to occupying them, kindly make a payment at the restaurant cashier.
For Overnight Guests:
Cooking is STRICTLY not allowed. You are free to bring your own cooked or ready-to-eat food and drinks. Please declare all food and drinks you bring to avoid penalty charges.
Prohibited foods and beverages include Durian, Bagoong, Dried Fish, and any food or drink with strong and overpowering aromas and odors. They have restaurants, a cafe, and a bar. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, short orders, and beverages. They also have a convenience store selling ready-to-eat food, so bringing in food and drinks is not really necessary.
Rates & Fees for All Activities at Camp Sabros
For walk-in guests who do not have a confirmed reservation/booking, Camp Sabros charges the following entrance fees:
- P100.00 per adult
- P80.00 per senior citizen
- P50.00 per child
Please be aware that the resort has a corkage cost of P400 per group of 8 persons on drinks and food that they take from outside the resort. applicable to day tour guests only.
Rates for activities and rides are as follows:
- Horseback riding is P200.00 per ride. (15 mins. only).
- A Round Trip Cable Lift and a ride on the 380-meter zipline costs P200.00 per person.
- A 380-meter Tandem Zipline Ride and Cable Lift Ride costs P250.00 per person.
- P350.00 per person for a Direct 520 trip that includes a 380-meter zipline and a 520-meter zipline.
- A Combo Rides ride costs P400.00 per person and includes a 380-meter Tandem Zipline back and forth as well as a round-trip Cable Lift ride.
- The All Zip Ride costs P500.00 per person and includes a 380-meter Tandem Zipline ride, a 520-meter Tandem Zipline ride, and a Tandem/Solo ride on the 800-meter zipline, as well as horseback riding.
- All Rides costs P500.00 per person and include a 380-meter Tandem Zipline ride, a 520-meter Tandem Zipline ride, an 800-meter Tandem/Solo zipline, a round trip cable lift ride, and horseback riding.
The resort is open from 6 am to 8 pm Monday through Sunday, including holidays. The resort rides are only open from 8 am to 5 pm. Please keep in mind that they currently only accept cash. So be sure you have enough money to pay for your purchases as well as the resort’s services.
