History of Cebu Safari and Adventure Park
Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is a relatively new attraction in the Philippines, having opened its doors to the public in 2018. However, the idea of creating a safari park in Cebu had been in the works for many years.
The idea was first proposed by Michel J. Lhuillier, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in Cebu. He envisioned a world-class park that would showcase the beauty of nature and provide a fun and educational experience for visitors.
To turn his vision into reality, Lhuillier enlisted the help of experts from around the world, including zoologists, architects, and engineers. They worked together to design the park’s habitats, animal enclosures, and visitor facilities.
Construction of the park began in 2015, and it took three years to complete. The park covers over 170 hectares of land, making it one of the largest safari parks in the country.
In addition to the animal exhibits, the park also features a range of exciting activities and attractions, such as the Safari Trek, Sky Bike, and White Lion Safari. These activities were carefully designed to provide visitors with a unique and unforgettable experience.
Since its opening, Cebu Safari and Adventure Park has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. It has received numerous awards and recognitions for its innovative design and commitment to conservation.
In addition to its role as a tourist attraction, the park also serves as a center for research and education. The park’s team of experts conducts research on animal behavior and conservation, and they work closely with local communities to promote environmental awareness and education.
Overall, Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is a testament to the vision and dedication of its founder and the many experts who helped bring it to life. It is a shining example of what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to conservation.
